As we were landing on the beach where we last saw the bear, Mike asked me if I had my predator call. As a matter of fact, I did. So I pulled it out of my pocket and began calling on a fawn distress call. Almost immediately the bear came out of the alders to investigate. With one shot from my Winchester .375, the bear tumbled down an embankment and out of sight. Mike and I excitedly climbed up off the beach with Sam following, Mike fired a couple of insurance shot into the bear and the celebration began!
