Can’t believe that I only have thirty more days on this project; excited but kind of sad. SmugMug > keywords > other > O' Tannenbaum (Day 333) No, there is no mistake with the title of today’s Daily. This was supposed to be a shot of one of my favorite Christmas Trees in town; a thirty foot Spruce on the Keene State College campus. However, I stupidly thought using a wide angle on a tree in the dark on an incredibly windy night would be a piece of cake. Not so much. All my shots were poorly composed and blurry (even though I was using a tripod). None were usable. The above was a quick reference shot for a potential future Daily that I just happened to take while walking back to the car. As such, I didn’t exercise much care in execution and as a result, thought the original was pretty boring. I played with it until I got an HDR look that I mildly liked. And here you go... (2009-12-03 6:12pm)
