SmugMug > keywords > self > Day 5: Self Portrait January 5, 2010 OMG- I really hate having my picture taken. What I like about some self portraits (not mine, but other Smugmugger SPs) is that they show the personality of the person. I despise being on the other side of the lens and I think it shows. Look how my face is all scrunched up. My mom says if I keep making that face, I'm going to have permanent frown lines between my eyes and above my nose (can you see them? I'm a bit blurred, and that's on purpose). I'm hoping this gets easier. It's the reason I'm doing this project with a lot of (but not exclusively) self portraits. I hope to one day not be so self conscious in front of the camera. I didn't mind the first one because I was hidden behind a lens so you couldn't see that look of angst on my face. Please tell me this will get easier....... I'm not a quitter so it had better! Only 360 more to go.....
