It is yellowed, faded and littered with stains, scratches, cracks and flaking emulsion. The panel on the left above shows the digital restoration result after fade and color correction and cleanup of the photo's multitude of localized defects by application of spatial interpolation and targeted image cloning processes. The image on the right above shows the result of a selective colorization of the restored image.
