SmugMug > keywords > walks > Roger Appleby took another step towards recovery Wednesday after doctors sad he'd never walk again following a motorcycle accident in June that left him nearly paralyzed. With the aid of a machine called the Auto-Ambulator at the Yuma Rehabilitation Hospital, Appleby's body and brain is being retrained to walk again.
